ABOUT MA AND DA GENERATIONS LIBRARY

Our Vision

Mrs. Kerine Bunsie grew up in the District and her passion for education made her the founder of Ma and Da Generation Library officially opened August 15, 2020 in a time when the Island observed its Independence and Emancipation from the British Colony but mental slavery is still an issue.

"Since the closure of the basic school in the community, the void has given me the inspiration to get connected to the young minds and citizens at large."

Reading can be fun learning. The extinction of libraries are like endangered species due to social media which call for concerns on how to get people to participate in reading. We can be well informed by the contents that the producers are putting out there but some of the viewers are unable to read and write.

Words are powerful not just to utter but to understanding and be able to spell them is also an important component. This is what we are aiming fix, people to produce good contents in their spoken words to everyone. Curse words are not the only thing to feed our vocabulary but it's seemed to be the new norm in today's contents.
